Our Financial Planning Process
No matter where you are in your financial journey - it helps to have a trusted guide.
Whether your concern is paying too much in taxes or not having enough money to last throughout retirement, we help individuals and business owners to develop and implement a comprehensive investment strategy that fits their unique needs and risk tolerance, helping them to meet their financial objectives.
It starts with a conversation between you and your Financial Advisor that’s designed to help identify, clarify and prioritize your financial goals. We'll listen closely to what you have to say. We want to understand what's important to you and what you have planned for your life.
Once we've clarified your goals, we'll work closely with you to develop intelligent financial strategies that make sense for your unique situation. For retirement income planning, we use Envision®, which combines goal-based advice with sophisticated statistical modeling. This unique process creates an effective, easily followed roadmap with personal milestones to help you discover whether you have the financial resources to live your life the way you want.
*Here’s what Envision® plan holders think:
Based on your goals, concerns, risk tolerance, and financial circumstances, we’ll propose an investment mix to help you achieve those goals. Envision® then uses Monte Carlo simulations in which random market returns are used to stress test each scenario 1,000 times to statistically determine how likely you are to achieve your goals. Once you understand and are comfortable with your investment strategy, we will put your plan into action!
An investment plan requires continual maintenance to help ensure it stays on target and re-balancing is key to maintaining your asset allocation and managing risk.
If your goals or financial circumstances change, Envision® makes it easy to update your plan to account for these changes and measure the impact it has on your ability to stay on track! This simplifies the answer to “How am I doing?” or “Will I have enough?”
