We Start with Your Life and Plan Your Money Around It

You only get one life.  It's up to you to make the most of it and to live the best life you can.  Our Envision Process is designed to help you identify and prioritize your goals.  This unique process creates an effective, easily followed roadmap with personalized milestones to help you discover whether you have the financial resources to live your life the way you want.

Three Easy Steps:

1. Prioritizing Your Goals (Ideal vs. Acceptable)

The Envision process begins with a conversation between you and your financial advisor that's designed to help you identify, clarify and prioritize your financial goals.  You and your advisor will use the discussion to define your "ideal" retirement scenario (how your perfect retirement would look) and your "acceptable" retirement scenario (what retirement lifestyle would satisfy you).

2. Answering the Question: Am I Going to Have Enough?

Once your goals are prioritized, we look at the whole picture.  We use Monte Carlo simulations to calculate thousands of different financial scenarios that could happen to your investments to determine the level of confidence you may have in your ability to meet your goals.  This is expressed as a Plan Result.  We recommend a success likelihood range between 75-90.  A plan result below 75 would indicate a low confidence level in you being able to achieve all of your goals.  However a plan result of over 90 would indicate you may be taking more risk than necessary or sacrificing more than is needed.

3. Monitoring Your Progress

Envision tracks how well your investments are helping you work toward your goals by providing a personalized benchmark called the "dot."  At any point in time, you can call us up to see how your dot is, look on your statements or  track it online.  Not only does this help provide you peace of mind, it also simplifies the answer to "How am I doing?"

Results are based on a survey conducted onlince by Harris Interactive from September-October 2012 among 606 investors with Financial Advisor relationships.  Results are not indicative of future performance or success.  Not representative of the experience of other clients.  The Envision process is a brokerage service provided by Wells Fargo Advisors.

Based on accepted statistical methods, Envision uses a simulation model to trest your Ideal, Acceptable and Recommended Investment Plans.  The simulation model uses assumptions about inflation, financial market returns and the relationships among these variables.  These assumptions were derived from analysis of historical data.  Using Monte Carlo simulation Envision simulates 1,000 different potential outcomes over a lifetime of investing varying historical risk, return and correlation amongst the assets.  Some of these scenerios will assume strong financial market returns, similar to the best periods of history for investors.  Others will be similar to the worst periods in investing history.   Most scenerios will fall somewhere in between.  Elements of this report's presentations and simulation results are under license from Financeware, Inc. c. 2001-2010 Financeware, Inc.
